  This is actually a well done spoken word stories with sound effects CD. As an audio book it does well
too, but it does have more sound effects than a regular read.
  
   Even though this is new, it does sound
like the old monster stories albums of the early 1970's. Anyone who enjoyed those will find things to like in this CD.
This is not a re-issue of the old Power Records version however, which came with a read-along book. You can get a
version of that one on cd from Something Wicked Prod dot com and it comes with a CD sized version of the booklet too!
  
  I would recommend the Story of Frankenstein, Dracula and the Wolfman for nostalgic souls and children, but
there is entertainment enough in the stories for anyone who enjoys audio fiction.
